This morning while I was cleaning up after breakfast, MG and MD went to work on an activity booklet they picked up at the SF zoo from the other day.
MG began to yell at MD for doing something incorrectly (because she does that a lot as a big sister!) and MD argued back, "No, that's not what it says to do." She replied, "Yes it is! You're supposed to..." (etc, etc.) And he firmly said to her, "No, what it says here is..." And he began to read her the directions from the book!!! So she could not do anything but give in... "Oh, alright." Because he was correct.
You see... that's why you learn to read... so you can prove your big sister wrong once in awhile! :0
Yes, he is reading so much now a days -- watch out warning signs... he's onto you! ;)
