Pumpkin Patch Group Photos

Every year since First Grade we have met the same group of friends to take pictures here at the same pumpkin patch:

2009:
2012:

But before the picture was taken... we had to make new shirts!
After our group photos everyone went their different ways.  We had extra time so we hung out and took some pictures.  He liked this sunflower patch and requested a photo... right there!
He found this pumpkin and insisted on carrying it... I asked him to get something smaller...
He found these... um, okay....
 She found this one!
 I LOVE this!!!!
All three -- trying not to get blinded by the sunlight!
Then they climbed.... (we don't know the little boy and I didn't want him to feel he had to get out of our picture so I just took the picture.  His parents felt bad and carried him off... He didn't object though -- nice boy.  We then found out his name was also Ethan!)
They each wanted their own photos... #2
 #1:
and last but not least, #3!
Fun, fun, fun!!!!  :)

Pumpkins in the Park

Every year I start off this post with... We've been attending this since MG was 1!  Um.... shall I?

We've been attending this event since MG was 1!  Time sure flies!  She's now.... 9!  And my, they have grown!  :)
Look at my beautiful babies!  :)  I am so proud of them!
Here they are at a station where their science teacher was helping out with... "Hello, Mr. Richard!"
This station was pretty cool... you know why???
This guy made fire!!!!
Then the children spun some wool...
Even he gave it a try!
Then they all decorated a pumpkin to support their science program at the Guadalupe Rive Park and Conservancy.
Very creative....
He even made this cute spider!
Oh and we ran into this lovely family!  Hello their Yeh family!  Glad you were able to join us with your fancy camera!  (lol)  And somehow... my children must  have known to wear green to match their children! ;)
Daddy joined us again this year!!!!  (this was his second time with us)
What a great day!!!!  I am already looking forward to next year.
Okay, I couldn't help it... here is MG at this event for the first time when she was one!  (with her buddy, Emma)

Pumpkin Patch

This is my mom's neighborhood pumpkin patch.  We've gone to this particular one with our Allen at Steinbeck Elementary friends for many years.  The children run around, chase each other, play around... all in all, they have a great time!  We are now at different schools (some are still at Allen) but we make an effort to meet each other throughout the year.  The one time we meet is during Halloween at this pumpkin patch.  I will miss it when we move... (but that's another post later on).
MD on an old tractor!
MG and her friends from kindergarten (although we've known Olivia since preschool).  My, they have grown!
Boys and trucks -- what is it about that?!
My good friend, Lisa, Jenna's mom grabbed this adorable picture of E.  He does look adorable, doesn't he?
MD tried to hide from her, but she got this one!

Tuesday was a FUN day!

This post is almost a week over due -- it's been in the draft folder... so better post now so you can all see our Halloween events today!  Aghhhh!!!!

We started the morning (just the boys and I) going to their favorite park -- Oak Meadow/Vasona Lake Park.  They scootered to the other side of the park and played....

But they saw this and wanted to skip some rocks!
So they did that for awhile....
Then they played at the playground the rest of the morning -- sand art!
 Um... sand... all over!
 Doesn't he look do big?!
SO much bigger than E, for sure!!!
Back to the duck pond for one last peek at the ducks...
Then scootered back ... just in time to take MD to school!
After school we met Braden and his mom at Uesugi Farm in Morgan Hill.  They had a blast!
Measuring how tall they are now -- and they sure have grown!!!

Notice how they MD and MG are almost the same height?!  Crazy, huh???  (he's eating a honey stick, if you;re wondering what's in his mouth!)
Waiting for Braden and Ms. Lori to arrive...
Then they went for a ride... on the COW train -- not to be mistaken for the Caltrain that they often see zipping passed Ma's house!

 Off they go!!!!
MD and his buddy from preschool... I hope they become life long friends.
MG really wanted a picture here -- love her stance!  HAHAHA!!!
Ms. Lori bought them a treat -- popcorn!!!  The boys :)
 Ms. Lori and MG
 MG, Braden and MD:

MD -- he's something else... no?
On the way out we investigated the noise we heard while at the pumpkin patch... and then gave it a try!
 PUMPKIN BLASTERS!!!!
She even gave it a try!  :0
It was a long day!!!  But they had so much fun!
(And I'm thinking, the pumpkin patch is now more commercialized than it has ever been!  Geez... everything costs and it's so much!  Some pumpkin patches have inflatable jumpy houses... and they cost so much to jump!  Am I cheap or what?  Yes, I admit it, I am cheap!  I don't see why I have to pay for them to jump in a bouncy house in someone's property when we have a perfectly good one at home!  well, that's just my 2 cents....)
