Another 2-wheeler in the family!

She was scared at first when we took off the training wheels.  After a few tries she gave up.  We don't like to push (at least I don't since I can't ride a bike, I am more empathetic).  So months later... she wanted to give it another try.

Can I tell you how easy it was?  It was sooo easy for her!

She barely got on, I ran along side her.... and when I let go, she kept going!!!!  It only took a few tries for her to feel comfortable.  My girl ROCKS!!!
Off she goes!!!!

 And goes....

 And goes...

 And she's back!!!!  She's a bit uncertain here... but she no longer is!

I am so proud of her!  :)

If you guessed training wheels, you are CORRECT!!!!  What made him do it?  His Dad!  He encouraged him and spent about 2 hours outside going back and forth down the block... and he did it!!!  I was so excited for him!  He was equally proud of himself!  :)

MG ran in the house (I thought she was angry that he did this before her... but she wasn't!) and she quickly made this cute picture for him!  It's of him and Vince.  The talking bubble says, "Don't worry, I am holding on!"  And she went on to explain that she purposely drew his hands barely touching MD!  That girl, she's very observant, I tell ya! ;)  

On the upper right hand corner, she taped a pocket to the picture.  In that pocket she had written him a letter/certificate:  (keep in mind she did this very quickly!)  It translates:

"Congratulations!

Matthew has shown good effort in bike riding.

your sister"

Got to love her for the support!  (sigh)  She is next in line....  Vince took off her training wheels too, but like her momma, she is not as interested in riding a bike!  LOL.  I guess I should show her how much fun it is, right?  (Astrid, if I do it, it's so you don't tease me anymore!  Something about riding a bike and you... makes me laugh uncontrollably!!!!!  Insert gasping for air here....  breathe, breathe....)
